Steak Fan Club

You know, in the age of the Internet, you can find just about ANYTHING you’re looking for – good or bad.

In the “good” department, I have found a Steak Fan Club that just might be something you’re interested in.

They have fun polls (ribeye is the favorite steak) and comment threads – and purty pictures of beef.

Everything a meat-loving girl or boy could want.

If that kind of thing strikes your fancy, head on over to FanPop.com and check out the steak club.

You just might find kindred spirits – or even your soulmate – over there.

Hey, common interests are important!

So check it out and let me know what you think!

Pioneer Woman’s Delicious Steak Sauce

Do you know Ree Drummond, Pioneer Woman?

If you don’t, you’ll want to get to know her. She’s something of a sensation, cooking up amazing recipes and sharing them with the world.

Her recipe for grilled ribeye steak with onion-blue cheese sauce has to be the richest, creamiest steak accompaniment out there.

So. Yeah. You have to try it.

Click here for the full recipe and the most beautiful photographs that will have your mouth watering before you even begin cooking.

Enjoy your steak – frontier style!

Steak At Home

I love it when this . . .

…and this…

…is the evening’s entertainment.

Seriously, give us a ribeye and a Kansas City strip steak and my hubby and I are occupied for hours.

Preparing a marinade, letting them sit, grilling and anticipating, eating and THEN talking about how good the steaks were.

That takes, what, all day long?

Oh, the joy of eating a beautiful meal! It’s one of life’s best gifts. And when I can enjoy it at home – it’s even better.

Here’s to simple pleasures!

P.S. Do you like the blue lights on the grill? They don’t do anything but they sure are cool at night!
