Mother’s Day Gifts for the Steak Enthusiast Mom

Gifts for the Steak Enthusiast Mom

Mother’s Day is next week!

If the moms in your life are anything like me (hey, I’m a mom) the way to her heart is through her stomach.

This method is not just for men, I promise.

If I were to receive, say, a Mother’s Day gift, here are some of MY Gifts for the Steak Enthusiast Mom faves:

1. Filet Mignon. Make Mom a beautiful dinner (see above) – she’ll eat it up!

2. Gift her some Bake & Serve Gourmet meals like Beef Wellington. YOU can serve the first meal to her, then stock her up for the rest of the month when she’s got to feed YOU. These are easy peasy – just bake . . . and serve!

3. Wanna get REALLY fancy pants on her? Cook her a steak with Wagyu Kobe beef. Pick her favorite cut and really spoil her with this delicacy.

4. A Monthly Steak Plan. Yes, it’s the gift that keeps on giving – 3, 6 or 12 month delivery!

5. Give her a gift card and SHE can pick the steaks she loves most! It doesn’t get easier than that.

Have fun celebrating the moms in your life!

Cinco Beef-Inspired Recipes for Cinco de Mayo

Recipes for Cinco de Mayo

Oh, how I love special days that allow me to focus on food! Beef, in particular.

As you know, I’m kind of obsessed.

So, the fact that Cinco de Mayo is coming up gives me great joy. I can dream up all kinds of beefy delights for that day.

AND, it’s my son’s birthday! We always get to celebrate doubly in spicy style!

The fifth of May, 1862, is when the Mexican army was victorious over the French in the Battle of Puebla and now it’s become a day to celebrate Mexican heritage and pride.

So in honor of Cinco de Mayo I give you cinco recipes you can use to celebrate, too!

UNO:  Delicious, nutritious steak fajitas (above). I mean, who doesn’t love steak fajitas? This recipe calls for Kansas City strip steaks sliced up good!

DOSCumin marinated flank steak. A special twist to give your flank steak some zing!

TRESCarne asada. A classic.

CUATROFlat iron steak tacos. I love the heartiness of the flat iron beef. Yum!

CINCO:  Flavorful, colorful pico burgers. Try ’em and this may just become your go-to burger from now on. Use Wagyu Kobe beef and you’ll be hooked!

Get Ready for Spring with this Steak Toaster

So you’re looking for a new way to cook your steak this spring?

Look no further! This glass toaster can cook your steak – and just about anything else – the “natural” way by heating it against glass.

How is that “natural,” you ask? I have no idea. That’s just what the guy in the video said.

It’s a pretty cool concept, really. I’m just not sure I’m willing to shell out a grand for the novelty of it.

Yes, one THOUSAND dollars.

Watch the video and tell me what YOU think. Yay or nay?

Either way, I still applaud anyone who’s thinking of ways to cook steak. Bravo!
