Fish Fridays: Crabcake Sauce, Anyone?

Fish Fridays Crab Cake

We’ve arrived at another Fish Friday and we’ve got to keep it fresh. Literally.

How about some delicious crabcakes with several sauce choices?

You know, sauces aren’t just for steaks.

But if you absolutely love a certain steak sauce, there’s no reason you can’t try it on your crabcakes. You just might discover a new flavor sensation you didn’t know you were missing in your life!

Or try this amazing Sweet Orange Sauce on for size:

Maybe an Easter Dinner Instead?

Easter Dinner ham

We’ve covered the Easter brunch option. But what if you and your family are more accustomed to the sit-down dinner for Easter?

Of course you can still serve a spiral ham. I always do no matter what time it is.

But there are so many more choices to be the star of this show.

If beef is what you’re craving, you can do a standing rib roast or even a prime rib roast. So juicy and delicious!

A Chateaubriand is also very elegant as an Easter dinner. After all, it’s French!

Add twice baked potatoes, a veggie, bread and a carrot cake for dessert and you’re set!

So what are your Easter dinner go-tos?

Easter Brunch Ideas

Easter Brunch Ideas

Are you a brunch person? Will you be serving a brunch this Easter?

We all know brunch is a breakfast/lunch hybrid that’s served usually mid-morning to around 2 pm. But what you serve is entirely up to you!

One thing that MUST be on my Easter brunch table is a spiral sliced ham. No question.

Spiral ham is just so agreeable. It fits in nicely as a breakfast option but serves just as well at lunch or dinnertime. Thanks, ham!

If its brunch time I always set out lots of fruit – blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, sliced bananas, apples, melons, you name it!

Not only is fruit light and a wonderful accompaniment, it’s just so colorful and pleasing to the eye!

A quiche is a great option to serve alongside your ham as well. We like egg, cheese and bacon in ours, but have fun experimenting with recipes you like.

If you go the brunch route, what will you be serving at your special Easter brunch?
