Grumpy Bunnies Need Food!

If this is the way your Easter is going this weekend, make sure everybody is fed!

Nobody likes a grumpy bunny, so for goodness sake, lay out some appetizers and bring on the Easter ham or prime rib or chicken nuggets!

Holiday meals are a tricky thing to pull off successfully. The timing is paramount. You don’t want people too hungry, but you don’t want them stuffed on appetizers. You don’t want them lingering too long around the TV when you call them to the table or the food will be cold. It’s quite a feat to get it just right.

So hats off to you if you are the host or hostess this go ’round. I am applauding you right now.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you do – just make sure it involves good food! Or this photo might start to look mighty familiar . . .

Steaks For the Weekend Warrior

…and “Tuesday Night Baseball Games in 30-Degree Weather Warrior” and “Hey Mom I Need a Posterboard You Can Only Get At This One Store That’s 30 Miles Away And By the Way It’s Due Tomorrow Warrior.”

In other words, I deserved a steak this weekend. So we grilled up a whole batch of them.

The kids? They got chicken nuggets.

Steak Inspiration

This meal inspires me to do more, be more.

Do I ever think to make homemade buttermilk dinner rolls with my steak?

No.

Should I?

Perhaps.

They look divine. And dinner rolls are such an amazing complement to a steak dinner. Maybe going that extra mile is just what the doctor ordered!

Here is the recipe and all the details on this meal. It looks like a total winner in my book – especially if those rolls are fresh out of the oven! Enjoy!
